Devil Dash looks like a typical endless runner adventure game at first glance, but it's incredibly frustrating in its own way. Your character rushes through a dark space, facing all sorts of traps: spikes, pits, barriers… and there's almost no time to think.
What makes this game different is its extremely fast pace. There are no breaks, no long respite. You have to maintain focus almost all the time. Just one misstep and you'll be trapped, usually losing very quickly.

Your character will automatically move forward. Your job is to control them to jump, dodge, or change direction to avoid obstacles.
Each section of the track will have different trap arrangements. Some sections require precise timing, while others demand continuous reflexes. The further you go, the faster the speed increases, making things more urgent.
The goal is quite simple: survive as long as possible and go as far as possible.
Looking a little further away will help you prepare in advance, instead of reacting passively
Random button presses will only make things harder for you. Neat and decisive controls are more effective.
Devil Dash has its own rhythm. Once you get used to it, you'll find dodging traps much easier.
If you've missed a beat, trying to fix it usually makes things worse. Focusing on the next turn is better.
Although the map may change, the trap patterns often repeat. Getting used to it will improve your reflexes.
Devil Dash isn't an easy game, but it's very addictive. You'll want to replay a round immediately to see if you can go a little further.
